I was born in The Hague (the Netherlands) on the 22nd of January 1982. I used to do different kind of sports like ice-hockey, jujitsu, kickboxing and soccer.

At the age of ten I started to watch Schwarzenegger movies, at that time I already knew I wanted to be like that one day.

The first time I got in contact with lifting weights was when we went to the gym with school. I weighed 149 lbs at that time.  When I first started training I liked to train legs because I wanted stronger legs for soccer. Because of the progression I made I decided to get a membership at that gym. I started to work out with a good friend of mine. We just did all of the machines. I mostly did the chestpress machine, the progress was good and I really felt the pump. The friend who I was training with quit after two months. I kept going.

After 6 moths of training I gained 4.5 lbs. That’s when I got introduced to another gym. In the new gym there was an instructor who said that I had to train with free weights, and that I had to train with a split training schedule.

I also started taking weight gainers. Every month 1 gained 2.2 lbs to 4.4 lbs. I also bought a book from Arnold Schwarzenegger. In his book he was talking about all the things he was eating to get bigger, so I started to eat as much as possible. I ate a lot of bread with tuna and mayonaise. After a wile I ate 26 slices of bread a day. Than I trained and also had dinner after my training and oatmeal with protein before sleeping.

After 3.5 years of training my weight went up from 149 lbs to 229 lbs . I also gained fat, my body fat went up from 10 to 17.5

November of 2003 I met Rob Ammersdorfer at the Dorian Yates Grandprix in the Netherlands. With two friends of mine I went to his gym and he made a diet for all of us. Four months after starting his diet  my body fat went down to 8 or 9. Because I wanted to build more mass I started to eat more carbs again.

November of 2004 I started with my diet for the Eemsmondcup  27 March 2005.  From the beginning Rob told me that I would make the top 3. His prediction was right and I won the Eemsmondcup, my own weight class (-200 kg) and the overall title (winner all weight classes). 

My next competition will be the N. K.  (Dutch Nationals IFBB).  This will be on 23rd of April 2006 in Schiedam. I watched my protein intake all year and gained mass again. I have worked with Whey Isolates as much as possible. Nectar from Syntrax is my favourite because it’s such a clean protein. I use Nectar in the morning right after waking up and just after my workout. Before I go to sleep I take a different protein that absorbs more slowly , for example Matrix or better yet Essence of Syntrax or Ultrapeptide of Xtreme formulations. This year I made a lot of progress using MASS STACK (NITRIX, NO XPLODE, CELLMASS) of BSN. This gave me a great pump and high energy during my work out. I noticed an increases in strength and mass. About 30 minutes after taking NO XPLODE you feel the energy rising! You certainly need to try this!
